Fantastic experience: We had Sam from DLT as our day of coordinator for our DIY wedding and holy moly she is worth her weight in gold!!!!! From the moment we met her a few months before our wedding, she was so supportive and responsive. She pulled together runsheets and floor plans and made sure she had a good understanding of our vision, so on the day we didn't have to worry about a thing. Even though our venue was outdoors and it had rained the day prior, so we hadn't been able to do any set up that was planned, she came in so calmly and just made things happen and pulled everything together, going above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect for us and it was!!! Thank you so so so much Sam!

Fantastic experience: We booked Days Like These Events just six weeks out and it was the best decision!! Em and Sarah’s enthusiasm and kindness immediately put me at ease. Em handled all the final details we had missed, while Sarah coordinated everything perfectly in the lead-up and on the day. Despite a tight turnaround, last-minute changes and heavy rain, everything was handled effortlessly and the end result was perfect. Sarah made sure my vision came to life and the whole evening ran seamlessly. They made our day completely stress-free, and both our vendors and guests commented on how lovely Sarah was and how smoothly everything ran. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Lisa was an absolute godsend for our wedding day. She truly made it feel like we were guests at our own wedding enjoying every second of it. She also made us feel so relaxed in the lead up helping navigate vendor complexities and a few hiccups along the way. We truly couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I couldn't recommend Days Like These Events more highly.

Negative experience: We engaged DLT for wedding planning assistance and on-the-day coordination for our wedding, which was planned approximately 9 months in advance (so already slightly tighter than the normal 12 months). While our wedding day itself was beautiful and Lisa, who handled the final coordination, was lovely to deal with, the overall planning experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. When we booked the planning package, our expectation was that there would be meaningful support with coordination, supplier management and reducing the organisational burden on us as a couple. In reality, much of the planning, sourcing and booking of suppliers ended up being managed by us. DLT did provide recommendations for several vendors, however the majority of the actual coordination and booking was handled directly by us. Most suppliers became recommendations only. Importantly, these concerns were raised with DLT during the planning process as well as after the wedding, however they were largely dismissed. We were told that because we were organised and moving quickly with bookings, the role of the planner shifted into more of a “recommendation and sounding board” role rather than coordination. I must admit, it became and expensive "recommendation and sounding board". This explanation was disappointing, given that the purpose of engaging a planning service was to reduce the burden of managing the process ourselves. We were also hit with an amended invoice less than 24 hours before the wedding without any explanation, which was unexpected so close to the event. While the day itself came together nicely in the end, the overall planning process felt far more reactive than proactive. Given the scope of the planning package we engaged, we did not feel the level of service ultimately aligned with the expectations that had been set.

Fantastic experience: Emily and Sam were one of the biggest highlights and joys of the wedding planning process! They took all our wild ideas and turned them into reality, kept us on track on the day, and helped us manage all the hurdles along the way! We are so so glad we decided to have an on-the-day coordinator, and even more thrilled that we chose Days Like These Events - we highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: We booked an on-the-day coordinator just two months out and WOW, are we glad we did! Lauren at Days Like These Events exceeded our expectations from our very first meeting. She was fully supportive of our vision and made thoughtful recommendations that elevated the experience for everyone. Her help with the small details was invaluable, and as our international family and friends arrived the week before, her calm, kind management was exceptional. On the day, Lauren seemed to be everywhere at once - while dealing with the rain! We had a wet-weather option, but decided to risk it and she ensured everything went smoothly. Fantastic experience: If 11/10 were possible, they’d deserve 15!! Days Like These - Wedding Coordination (Sarah) We genuinely believed we didn’t need a coordinator. We’re organised, detail-obsessed, event-planning gays who thought we had everything under control. And then we met Sarah - and she changed everything. Em, Sarah, Lauren and the team are next level, the BEST at what they do. From the moment Sarah stepped into our world, something shifted. She made everything feel lighter, calmer, more possible. Every meeting, every site visit, every conversation - she brought this grounded, joyful energy that made us think, “Oh, this is what it feels like to be truly taken care of.” Our ceremony was in Wiltshire Park in Palm Beach, which meant turning a public park into a wedding venue. Furniture, benches, bar, cart - you name it, it had to be delivered and set up from scratch. Sarah planned it all, coordinated every supplier, and then was there herself to build it piece by piece. When we arrived, it took our breath away. It was exactly what we dreamt of - and somehow even better. She setup the park and then went to The Joey for our reception and set that up to, at the end of the night she returned items to the house we were staying at. And then… it rained. On our wedding day. That moment you’re never quite prepared for. But Sarah didn’t even flinch. She literally went out that morning and bought clear umbrellas so the ceremony would still feel magical (photos below). She didn’t ask, she just did it - because she really cared. That’s who she is. Throughout the day she was everywhere at once, setting up the reception, welcoming guests, managing musicians and photographers, guiding our MC, handing us water when we needed it, quietly making sure every moment flowed and every champagne glass was full. She built our run sheet, seating plan, timing, speeches - all the invisible scaffolding that holds a wedding together. A true expert, but also a true heart. We’ve attached photos, including a snapshot of the 12-page run sheet she created to brief every supplier. It’s a masterpiece. Honestly, I want Sarah to organise our entire lives but she is busy with weddings. To the whole team at Days Like These: you didn’t just coordinate a wedding. You crafted a day that felt effortless, emotional, joyful, and completely us. We trusted you with the most important moments of our lives, and you delivered beyond anything we could’ve imagined. Fantastic experience: We had the absolute pleasure of working with Em from Days Like These Events, and she was an absolute legend! From start to finish, Em went above and beyond to help us plan a day that ran as smoothly as possible. She supported us with everything, from styling choices and gathering vendor quotes to answering our late-night emails and giving us that gentle kick we needed to get our invites out. Fantastic experience: Em was organized, attentive, and handled every detail seamlessly so we could actually enjoy our day without stress. Whenever we thought we had forgotten something or had slipped through the cracks, Em was all over it. She anticipated needs before we even knew we had them and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Fantastic experience: We used Days like These for our photography and on the day coordination for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!!! Fantastic experience: We used Days Like These for our wedding on March 1st in Sydney. Lauren was our “on the day” co ordinator but she stepped in 3 months out from the wedding day to make sure everything was perfect. Em and Lauren are worth every cent!! Having someone help with the finer details and removing the stress as the day got closer was such a blessing. Lauren thought of everything - even down to poweraid and snacks for us once the reception was over (genius). I’ve already recommended them to all of my engaged friends and will continue to do so!

Fantastic experience: Days Like These Events were exceptional, and our on-the-day coordinator, Lisa Whittaker, went above and beyond—from our rehearsal to the morning our wedding day began, right through to the very end. She made sure my wedding dress and everything important ended up safely in our hotel room. Her attention to detail was incredible—she even drove us to a photo location and handed my just-then husband a band-aid for his new shoes. Fantastic experience: Planning a wedding in Australia while based in Los Angeles was not going to be the easiest task, which is why we needed someone organized and on it. We couldn't have been happier with deciding to bring on Days Like These for our planning and coordinating. They made the planning experience fun and came with a ton of expertise and knowledge. When we got into Sydney we were offered so much support and really felt like we could turn off and enjoy all of our guests coming into town. On the day, our expectations were exceeded. Everyone couldn't stop commenting on how incredibly nice the staff was and how seamless the ceremony into reception went. 100/10 I'm so happy we have Em and her team in our lives forever now and so many beautiful memories to look back on.

Fantastic experience: Midway through my wedding planning journey I discovered on the day coordinators exist and I could not be happier to have stumbled across Days Like These Events website. Em and the team were so assuring and helpful while I worked out what exactly I wanted/needed (type A organised OCD girl). I was blessed to work with Sarah in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and on our wedding day. I was beyond shocked at the service provided by the girls and how beyond helpful they were to bring things together, even packing up at the end of the night. Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin?! From the very day we booked our wedding at Bebeah Farm the DLT were nothing short of amazing. Answered all our messages and calls regarding questions for the day, gave amazing recommendations for other vendors and all round cared as if it was their own wedding. We were allocated Sam as our on the day co-ordinator and we could not be more thankful for Sam. Sam met us over face time and we felt like we knew her when she arrived at the wedding. Fantastic experience: Em, Sarah and Lauren were exceptional in their dealings with our family. The wedding day ran like clockwork and went incredibly smoothly with everyone having had a great time. I would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone wanting a fantastic wedding. Fantastic experience: My husband and I highly recommend Days like these events and photography! Beautiful Em was amazing! We had a huge change of plans moving our wedding location from Aus to Italy. They kindly sent Dax, one of their amazing photographers, over to Italy with us to shoot our amazing day! The communication was seamless before and during our wedding day! Fantastic experience: My partner Max and I hired DLT for our wedding in Wanaka, New Zealand and it was money well spent! Em and Sarah are worth their weight in gold. I had planned alot of the wedding before I enquired with DLT however they executed our vision seamlessly, managed all the vendors in the lead up and on the day, set up reception, managed the rehearsal, coordinated last minute requests/ needs, made sure our family and friends were enjoying themselves (including random requests from the mother of the bride on the day or the easing the grooms stress) + solved any minor query/hiccup with the sole outcome being that we had the best day of our lives - tick! Fantastic experience: The best decision we made for our wedding was to get an on-the-day coordinator on board. Lisa at DLT was absolutely amazing and an overall superstar. She developed the event runsheet around 8 weeks before the wedding, patiently fine-tuned it until we were 100% happy and also did all of the coordination with all the vendors. Fantastic experience: Honestly, I don’t think our wedding day would have been such a success without Days Like These. Specifically, Sam Taylor as our coordinator, and nothing was too big or small for Sam to handle. Fantastic experience: We recently had the pleasure of spending our wedding day with ‘Days Like These Events’ photographers Fabio and Leila. To say that we were happy with their work would be a vast understatement. Fabio and Leila made everyone feel extremely comfortable and their positive, enthusiastic attitudes perfectly added to an amazing experience. They were great with providing suggestions, while also taking on ours and were so easy to communicate with. The sneak peak images that we've seen proves that they were one of the most valuable vendors that we selected for our wedding! A special mention must go to Leila for her perfectly timed (and chosen) words of encouragement before I made my way down the aisle, completely eliminating any nervous energy. We will be forever grateful that we were able to have them there to capture every moment, on the best day of our lives!

Fantastic experience: We used Days Like These for our beautiful wedding at Redleaf in December 2023. Having Em and Lisa as our on day coordinators made the entire day go seamlessly. They were incredible at arranging the Run sheet, making sure we didn’t miss anything in our organising process. This was key as they noted things that we definitely would have forgotten about, so thank you so much again for this. They were there to overcome any obstacle or challenge with care and precision, which allowed us to have a sense of ease and enjoy the moment. They are super organized, communication is exceptional, they get back to you straight away without leaving you questioning anything. Their online system was clear and super easy to use, it kept all the information together. They are lovely girls and make you feel at ease when communicating. They took the stress out of the wedding day, communicating to all the vendors and making sure it was all running smoothly. I would highly recommend Days Like These for your wedding! Fantastic experience: The team at Days Like These were all super easy to work with, totally understood what I wanted to achieve in a very short space of time and made it happen. Absolute pleasure to work with. In under 3 weeks they visualised the the surprise party for my husbands 50th and made it happen. The photography to capture the event was just stunning too. Fantastic experience: Our experience was INCREDIBLE. From the first time I reached out (when Em replied in seconds even tho we have an 11 hour time difference and it was the middle of the night for her) I knew Days Like These were the wedding planners for us. It was a joy from start to finish. All our guests commented on how well our day was organised despite tricky logistics and being planned with us in the UK. We regard Em as family now. Our lovely wedding planner Em brought our vision to life with her exceptionally organised planning and behind the scenes coordination. Our photographer Hunter was wonderful at keeping us relaxed in front of the camera - we love the sneak peek photos we have received so far! My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted but were at a loss as to how to execute it... and that's when we realised we needed to involve a professional. Em was just that - professional, experienced, knowledgeable and most importantly, so approachable and lovely to work with. I can't recommend the team enough - they were absolutely worth every cent!

In the lead up to the wedding, Lisa offered support, reassurance and advice, and was always responsive, which instilled a lot of confidence in us that we were in good hands for the day and removed a great deal of stress. On the day, we had the privilege of being truly present in each moment as there was no need to worry about timing, logistics, details, etc. as Lisa had it handled. You are always told to prepare yourself for things not going to plan on your wedding day, but I can honestly say we got pretty close to 100%, which was in no small part thanks to Lisa. Having only decided to hire an on the day coordinator a few months out from the wedding, I am so glad we made the decision and would recommend any couple to consider it (and consider Days Like These Events, of course!).

If you have any worries about the ability of your other vendors to deliver then you should hire these guys, they have been there and done it a million times and had a solution for everything, really easy to deal with, nothing was too hard. Fantastic experience: We hired Days Like These Events to do our on the day coordination for our wedding ceremony and a few hours pre and post this, as well as two of her staff to do bar service for us at the ceremony. Emily and her girls were AMAZING! Emily liaised with all our vendors and took full control of everything on the day so that I could enjoy the moment and not be stressed about the details. She came past our accommodation and collected everything that was needed for the ceremony, as well as ice to keep the champagne cold! She was fully prepared with batteries when I forgot to put them in the bubble guns too! Honestly a real life Angel. Her girls took photos for us when we needed someone extra to take one, and Emily took some amazing mid ceremony snaps and videos - she was practically an on the day content creator! Fantastic experience: Days Like These Events saved our wedding day! With less than two months before we were to get married, we found out our venue wouldn't be complete on the day. Emily and Lisa worked around the clock to make sure that we could still get married and helped pull everything together and take so much of the stress off of us. It ended up exceeding our expectations and being the dream wedding we had always wanted. Having Lisa as our on the day coordinator was invaluable. She made sure everything was going to plan and any issues I had, she was my right hand woman in getting them resolved. We couldn't have done it without the ladies at Days Like These Events and are so grateful that they were part of our special day!

Negative experience: Avoid like the plague. I wasn't going to post a bad review for my wedding in November 2022, but I am still receiving unprompted comments about how bad my wedding coordinator was months later and feeling the inconvenience of lots of items which went missing from the day. Not really how I wanted us and our guests to remember our wedding. Your friends and family will do all the work despite promises and upsells to ensure they "won't lift a finger", you will pay above market for a poor service, your seating arrangements will be wrong, lots of things will not get done (eg. they forgot to put our gluestick out next to the photobooth so we now barely have any photobooth pics of our guests, our wishing well was left unlocked, way too many things to name), and lots of things will be forgotten or lost at the venue. We were missing over $4,000 worth of items (including my wedding dress which was never recovered!!!!) when packing up was their responsibility. The coordinator also came late and flustered me (the bride) throughout the day with basic questions (eg. How many bridesmaids do you have? What's the address?). She mysteriously disappeared for hours at an early point during the set up so my bridal party had to do everything. I had to hear about it the day after. The recurring joke of the day was: "where's the coordinator?" Lastly, they will be aggressively defensive if you raise any complaint and give no apologies. I wanted to end things amicably and avoid posting on Google, but I've now decided I should warn other happy couples. Beware. Save your money and go elsewhere. By the time you realise they are doing a bad job, it'll be too late and you will have already paid them. Ps. Luckily my day was beautiful thanks to my friends and family who helped alot, but they were very stressed out. Edit: DLT emailed me asking me to delete this review. I'll add this: they did come into coordinating our wedding late in the piece where our wedding was planned last minute due to a family member being unwell. We didn't want our friends doing any jobs on the day, so we decided to hire a coordinator to make sure it all ran smoothly and gave them a comprehensive handover (they even upsold us on an extra helper for the day, and two fresh helpers to come at night for pack down...which was expensive). Even for a last minute job, it was really bad. We should have just not bothered since we relied on our friends as we originally planned. And to their comment in reply: lots of inaccuracies.

Fantastic experience: I truly couldn’t have picked a better venue at Bebeah Farm & a better coordinator in Em. From the very start, the DLT team answered every question so punctually. I was never left waiting long at all to hear back. The team were incredible to us before we even booked the venue. Fantastic experience: Emily was our day of coordinator for our wedding day and ensured our day ran smoothly and that my vision was executed perfectly. She went above and beyond, bringing me an immunity juice the morning of (was sick the day before), taking care of the rings, ensured we ran to schedule and made sure that all the vendors were executing their roles and that everything ran smoothly. She also went above and beyond in the weeks prior to the day, attending our venue meeting and answering every random query immediately. I would and have recommended Emily to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently had our wedding and recovery day at Bebeah with the DLT team coordinating things. They were lovely from the outset. Very responsive to all of our questions and contact, very knowledgeable about the area and vendors and happy to play as large or small a role as we wanted for different parts of the planning. The venue is truly spectacular and having access to the whole property for the 3 days made it feel like a real festival. My only disappointment is that it is now all over. An amazing crew and location that I can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Engaging with Lisa & Em from “days like these events” was singly handedly the best decision I made in planning my wedding. Lisa was nothing short of incredible, she was my real life wedding fairy godmother and truthfully, my day would not have been anywhere near as amazing as it was if it wasn’t for her. I was planning a wedding in 5 months and Lisa was my absolute rock during this time. She was always available to speak to, answered all of my calls and emails, and knew all of the details about our big day. In the lead up and especially on the actual wedding day, she literally did everything, she thought of everything and there was nothing that was too much of a hassle for her. Even to the point where my husband and I were changing into our second outfits for the reception and she had men and womens deodorant for us, mints, water etc. It was like she was our very own Mary poppins. Fantastic experience: When your wedding reception venue gets flooded - three weeks out from the wedding - things could have gone very badly for us. Luckily, I managed to connect to Emily and she made everything a dream. Found me the Surf Club in Queenscliff (we were the first ones to have a wedding post the renos - and it's perfect), hooked me up with suppliers to connect with for food, flowers and the rest - and she went out of her way to help us out. From meeting suppliers to view the property with us on days she wasn't working, to connecting us to multiple key contacts who gave us help with wildly short lead times, to even collecting decor and setting up the venue and dropping off coffees on the day of the wedding for the bridesmaids and bride, Emily and Days Like These Events are a treat to work with - they really put the "customer" in customer service - and Emily and the team made sure the day went off without a hitch. I'm so pleased to have worked with the team, it was the best money we spent on the wedding! We had the best day, and it was thanks to Emily and her team!

From the moment Em arrived we just knew we could relax as she had everything in hand. We'd hired Em for our On The Day Coordination but she was so helpful in the lead up to the day even helping us sort a very last minute photographer cancellation! Her support in the lead up helped to ensure that things on the day ran so smoothly. Everyone said it was one of the best run weddings and everything just flowed so well. Any even minor issue was already sorted before it was even noticed and she just knew all the little things that make a day super special. The flexibility, communication, organisation and reassurance from Em before the event was amazing putting me completely at ease before the wedding (even through lockdowns and constantly changing COVID restrictions) it was every bride's dream. On the day Dax and Hunter were unbelievable, they really understood us and made our pictures natural, comfortable and not so posed/staged. They helped us capture all the moments we wanted to and many more moments we didn't plan.
