From the very beginning of our journey, which lasted three years, they were with us every step of the way, making sure our destination wedding at Redleaf in Wollombi was everything we dreamed of and more. For us having a wedding at my family property meant we really needed to consider so many elements, and Honeylane really are the experts in this area. Negative experience: As a musician with extensive experience performing at numerous weddings, my priority has always been to contribute positively to such special occasions, driven by a genuine love for celebrating beautiful moments with wonderful people. In all my years, the joy of playing for kind-hearted couples has been unparalleled. At a recent event, the bride and groom were nothing short of delightful, which made it all the more disheartening to witness the shortcomings of their wedding planners, Emma and Poppy from Honey Lane. Professionalism and courtesy form the cornerstone of my approach to every performance, qualities that were regrettably absent in my interactions with these planners. Their lack of organization and rudeness not only impacted my part in the ceremony but also seemed to affect the overall flow of the event. An ill-timed signal to begin playing was just one manifestation of their disorganization. Furthermore, even after the ceremony concluded, the reception area appeared to be in a state of unpreparedness, significantly disrupting the day's schedule. This experience was particularly jarring given the contrast between the planners’ conduct and the impeccable reviews Honey Lane boasts. Such a discrepancy leaves me bewildered and frankly, reluctant to participate in weddings managed by these planners in the future. The decision to move umbrellas mid-ceremony and the disturbance caused by the running car engine were additional examples of poor management, drawing guests' attention away from the ceremony’s heartfelt moments. Despite these challenges, it's important to highlight the undeniable grace and warmth of the bride and groom. Their vows and the overall atmosphere, enhanced by the talents of the other musicians, remained a testament to their love and the true essence of the celebration. Regrettably, my experience with Honey Lane culminates in a 1/5 star rating. This assessment does not come lightly, considering my extensive background in wedding performances. It was truly disappointing to see such a significant day affected by avoidable oversight and unprofessionalism.

Lara and her team who helped us plan and style our wedding (Hannah and Emma) are wonderful people and truly take the time to understand what you want and they do not follow a cookie cutter wedding template which we observed seemed to be the case with some other wedding planners. Hannah styled our wedding beautifully and the process was so efficient as she nailed it in the first round of her style proposal. You won’t regret working with Honey Lane.

Fantastic experience: I am a marriage celebrant and I recently officiated a wedding where Honeylane were the co-ordinators…..I have a complaint…..WHY HAVEN’T WE WORKED TOGETHER SOONER!!!! Emma was in charge and my gosh she was amazing. Her communication in the weeks leading up to my couples dream day was very clear and concise and she genuinely showed compassion and commitment to working alongside me to execute the perfect ceremony. On the day she was pure joy and kept cool and calm under pressure when things didn’t quite go as planned. Her team were amazing to deal with and extremely helpful in assisting me to execute elements of my ceremony such as the couples entrance, handing out confetti and handing out shots. Fantastic experience: Lara & team were the absolute dream team. We had our Sydney wedding in October 2022z While we are based in Singapore and despite the fact that the process took 15 months (we had a long lead up since we started planning during Covid), at no point did I find the planning stressful at all. Lara was always ahead of the planning steps and made me feel so comfortable / assured. On the day itself / last stretch before wedding was a breeze because Lara was quick on her feet with any last minute contingency. We can’t thank Lara enough!! If you are looking for a professional and experienced team, Honey Lane team is the answer.

Fantastic experience: We contracted Honey Lane to event manage our daughter's wedding back in January 2020, when she and her fiancee told us they were getting engaged. They live in England, and the wedding was to be in Australia, so we definitely needed support with the wedding planning. The wedding was set for January 2021, but unfortunately COVID intervened, and we had to postpone the wedding to January 2022 and then again to January 2023 due to the prolonged border closure which meant that her fiancé could not fly to Australia for the wedding as he was not an Australian citizen. With each postponement, Honey Lane moved all our arrangements to the new dates, including the venue, catering, band, stylists, hair and make up, photographer, etc, saving us a huge amount of work. Then we had a fourth date change, due to our daughter's pregnancy which ,meant we had to bring back the wedding date to November 2022, and again, Honey Lane rearranged all the plans with our various vendors. The wedding was finally last week, and every detail was perfect. All the vendors that Honey Lane had recommended were outstanding, and the on-the-day coordination was seamless, and all we had to do was turn up. The wedding was better than we could have ever hoped, and many friends and family commented that it was the best wedding they had even been to, with the floral arrangements, band etc, all being exceptional! We would highly recommend Honey Lane.

Fantastic experience: Planning a big fat indian wedding was daunting at first, but Honey Lane took all the stress and logistical responsiblity off our shoulders. They were meticulous in executing the traditional customs and rituals of the ceremony. Not to mention SO PATIENT. I don't know how she did it, but Alannah stylistically captured my husband and I so perfectly. It was BETTER than my Pinterest moodboard. They went above and beyond. What made a difference was that they really got to know us as a couple before deciding what vibe would suit us best. Fantastic experience: 5 stars for this fabulous company from a very impressed wedding guest.This weekend would have been a challenging event by any standard simply by its location and sheer size. Add to the complexity - the setting was on the banks of the Hawkesbury River as the water levels were rising and the threat of flooding washing away the marquees a very real possibility. The final straw for many would have been the torrential downpour from midday to midnight. This event was handled by a wedding planner with a steady hand and an unflappable mindset. This was not for the faint hearted and the Honey Lane team and all their selected vendors ( sorry I don't know who they are to name) were exceptional. From changes to parking, to umbrellas for hundreds of guests, to shuttle buses all last minute additions. Fantastic experience: Lara and her team brought our dream of a super personalised wedding 'for our guests to enjoy' to life impeccably! This wasn't without us throwing some hefty curveballs, like delaying by a year & moving overseas in the process. :) Their little black book of suppliers is enviable - and meant we were incredibly chill and just enjoyed ourselves on the day! Every single supplier and team member were amazing to be around on in the lead up, on the day also - from our celebrant who we turned into MC because we loved her so much, through to make up artist, photographer and our epic caterers who we ended up having join us from the Friday-Sunday for various events. Lara & the team had such attention to detail and I knew they were making little adjustments through the day to maximise impact & our investments such as florals. Fantastic experience: The team at Honey Lane are amazing! My wife and I hired them to help plan our wedding at Redleaf. The venue is a tricky place to host a wedding as everything needs to be organised, from the seats to the RSA! Lara and her team, especially Heidi, made this as seamless as possible. Navigating planning this through multiple lockdowns and many changes to the number of guests! Heidi's guidance and professionalism during the planning and her on the day coordination was worth its weight in gold. There were a few hiccups prior to the wedding, but Heidi was so calm and reassuring and helped us whenever we needed her! Thanks to Heidi and the team, my wife and I had the wedding of our dreams. Alannah is an absolutely gem, she has the most amazing eye for details and a sense of style. It was unbelievable to see everything I’ve envisioned came to life and I couldn’t have asked for more. Towards the wedding date, Alannah made sure everything was perfect and stress free. On the day coordination was perfect with Sophie. She was so calm and organised, despite all these last minute hiccups, she made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Everyone in the bridal party were so impressed with her. Fantastic experience: We had Jordan and the team from Honey Lane style our wedding at Bendooley Estate. From helping to elicit ideas through to execution on the day, my partner and I felt completely assured throughout the whole process. Jordan’s creativity really shone through, enabling us to have a unique look that matched our personalities and family backgrounds (think farmhouse setting with a south asian twist). What was great about working with Jordan is that she took the time to get to know us, helping to translate our rough ideas into a colour palette and aesthetic that was just wonderful and that complemented our venue beautifully. She knew how to turn our big choices and flow them through to all the minor details that needed to be considered as part of the wedding. Jordan also worked with our selected florist to make sure everything looked just right on the big day. It was a pleasure having the Honey Lane style our wedding. Please give them a look! If we could do it all again, we would definitely use Honey Lane for everything from planning through to styling and on the day coordination - they are experts in their field and are truly amazing to work with!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing, Alannah and Bianca did the most amazing job making my Havana themed 30th Birthday party look outstanding. Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Lara and her team highly enough; they made the wedding styling of both our ceremony and reception a simple process, and the end result just beautiful. Their extensive knowledge, fresh ideas and well-honed systematic approach were invaluable, and the constant accessibility, problem solving and patient and practical responses to a flustered bride made even last minute stresses trivial. They have been a delight to work with, and although I only plan on doing this wedding caper once, I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again!
